On Saturday, November 7th, members of the community will again meet to work on a habitat restoration project by planting native plants at Beaver Lake Preserve. This is a chance to give back to your community, learn about native plants and enhance wildlife habitat. The city organizers will arm small teams to certain areas to plant bushes and trees to replace noxious plants which have already been removed. Advanced sign-up is required due to a minimum of parking availability. Dress appropriately! Snacks, gloves and other items will be provided.
To find out more and to get signed up, please visit the volunteer site here. This takes place from 11am to 2pm.
Have fun and thanks for helping out your community!
