Joseph W. McConnell III
Our neighbor, Joe McConnell, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, at the age of 83 following a period of declining health. He was attended by his loving family at Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue.
You probably knew him as just: Joe. You may know of him from his tenure as the Beaver Lake Community Club president, or possibly from his general good humor and storyteller at club events. Perhaps you said hello as he and his devoted wife Deborah walked the lake roads. You may or may not have known him as a Master Woodcarver, whose Beaver Lake Woodworks crafting classes shared his knowledge and talent with countless students who very often became good friends.
In any case, he was a wonderful man and a good neighbor who will be missed by all who knew him.
